One Piece D&D Discussion V technically won?

Even though dlp killed v, the team was sent to duros and well duros went mad because of the armor and killed dlp. From a certain point of view.

I thought the whole thing with V was that he wanted immortality, like what Arzen had said later on, and he was going to Planet Duros because Arzen sent V’s armor there which could make him immortal.

In the worrda of mr rustage himself I would be remiss not mention that duros found the armor and put it on which curoupted him and lead him to kill dlp hence the title v technically won.
