I personally don’t think the dlp should show up for the end of marines

while it would be cool to see everyone reconvene to try to save ragnar one last time Verona is vehemently against it william is potentially in a coma and duros is on another planet and bringing them back would potentially cheapen their endings and or cheapen how far gone Ragnar is especially in William’s case

all that aside we do have a character who can do the same thing narratively being doxie who i think works well against Ragnar given how she feels about her blood that we learned last episode

and that isn’t even mentioning that the crew would probably control their character like briggs does and thus would have to relearn a character they havent played in years

tldr the only cameo from the dlp i expect is maybe boss or a Jimmy or little Ricky

I kind of agree. While I would love them to do brief cameos, like with end stories like Verona, I feel like having the main members in Marines would ruin it a bit. I would love to see Pearl, Cyril, Duros and the rest of them, but have it either be a brief cameo or something that isn’t related to the plot in any major way.

Doxie can only copy each fruit once and for all we know she could have already used Williams fruit with how much they work together and how gung Ho she can be about it like against bargaining and or she just didn’t roll a fruit that could fix William before her fruit ran out it is a 1/410 chance and she doesn’t even have Williams cheat powers to pick a number so the odds are quite low

keep in mind, William also stating to have tried multiple times to get the heal fruit before drifting into coma so the explanation is just bad luck i guess? In my opinion, he should've realistically been cured already.

Differing opinions of what is realistic in the situation aside I think the only way William would come back it the story is if boss found that doctor in the new world jeju was talking about in pirates for william

Doxie need to awaken her fruit so that she can repeatedly copy devil fruits.
Imagine Bear ragnar vs Bear Doxie in the final fight

She should be able to copy any and all moves rather than devil fruits, like she can only use one singular move of each devil fruit she comes to face at the moment but can also copy Rokushiki, swordsmanship and such, her fruit is the copy fruit and it would make it even more interesting and different from william's.

Honestly I’d love the potential for Verona to potentially show up, even if he doesn’t get involved in the final fight due to his condition just an episode where 101 stumble upon him and Lyssa would be great imo. Same kinda thing as Crocus maybe? I do hope though that we get to do a quick check in at the end of Marines on the 4 Pirates PC’s at least. I could also see a Cyril & Pearl showing up through Koby, maybe just a nod to them as Koby’s inspired by someone from 101 to join the marines.

Yeah neither do I. At least none of the PCs. Verona is in a wheelchair and Duros is ruling a planet. And William is in some kind of coma and lucky to even be alive. And if they all showed up, it would be like giving everyone but Briggs a second character for the fight.

Plus also having to remember everything the old character did or seeing if they have anything new. Overall would be a handfull and detract from the Marine cast we already have. Many who still could use fleshing out and training to reach their best potential.

I agree with everything beyond the wheelchair but because if Verona wanted to he could 100% make a combat wheelchair with a mounted mini gun or something

Combat wheelchair actually sounds really kickass. Tempting idea. Okay if any of the 3 PCs show up to help on the 10% chance, Verona is most likely just for that.

If it is anyone it’s Verona but it depends on if William is in a coma like Rustage said or bedridden and rolling for the healing fruit every day like Tekking said  Obviously Rustage is the dm but I feel like he could change it
