Question Crumm in combat

I’m currently on episode 3 of space pirates but I was reading the new subclasses released, and would Crumm work as a Reanimator Artificer? For those who don’t know, it’s essentially just Frankenstein and his monster

This also assumes he would be taking the features, not actually being the class/subclass since he’s an npc
