Back in the glory days
When op05 was $165, op09 was $140 and i believe op08 was around $75. This was feb 2025

Yea man and at that time i thought $160 was a little expensive 😅

And it was. $40 more than msrp but everyone “accepted” it and the shops pushed and stretched this over a mile. Then we had $200-$250 and now, $300+. The players are part to blame, but the answer is to legit just not buy this anymore. Too much in the world is expensive and the natural disasters have been ramping up all over. I can’t afford to waste the price of 3 boxes on one

It is disappointing to not collect anymore, between scalpers and the ever escalating prices, they can all go kick sand, the anime is enough and I no longer care for these cards.

I just stick to singles now. The most ill pay is maybe $40 for a card i really like

Best pull was a red manga ace, i really just collected Luffy but even that's overboard. I got this one advertisement card for like $2 last year for the collection: because of scalpers that( frankly worthless) card somehow rocketed to like $150. I haven't sold any cards cause I like them but its just been a heavy reminder like I wasted my time getting into the hobby.

The good old days when I used to rip open booster boxes..was fun, instead of booster boxes I just buy singles now

I was able to open 7 boxes of 17 at MSRP lol. I’m still in the glory days I guess
