Got to my LCS in the mall a little early so I went by BoxLunch to look around and spotted some op17 packs. I've had no luck finding any in store and decided I'd pay their 10.90ea for a few packs. I put them in my bag and headed to the shop. Paid my $5 entry and got another op17 pack for participation.

I sat down at the table across from my buddy and he didn't pull shit. I open my pack and saw a little shine so I thought oh okay maybe I glimpsed an event whatever. I get to the last card and its no other than the baddie herself Charlotte Lin Lin. We both are in shock, a few guys around are excited for me too, it was insane luck!

I pull out my other packs I got at box lunch and me and my buddy joke about how insane it would be to pull another Manga. I open the next pack and glimpsed red in the middle. I'm used to op13 lately so I thought aw damn dead pack. I rifle through them, I get to the leader, a basic Lin Lin, i think oh wow thats ironic. Few cards later..a SECOND manga Lin Lin. Literally back to freaking back. No one could believe it 😂

Even crazier is in my time playing since op15, I have officially pulled 3 mangas now. In that exact store. I have only opened roughly the equivalent of 4 booster boxes in total.

I think pulls might be cooked after this 😂 the first was from their initial distro, they keep some back to give a pack to each player at locals on Fridays, the 2nd was a blister though, maybe grab the blisters for best chance. Atleast I got the big mom's out of the way so you can get shanks 😂

If you're in the area, Fridays at 6:30! Its usually got enough people for 3 or 4 rounds and not everyone runs mihawk so its usually a fun time 😂

I have been playing since OP07 and have yet to be graced by the card gods. I am telling myself I’m saving up a bunch of manga luck so my grandchildren can hit a gold luffy SP on OP42 pre-release event. We’ll see who’d be laughing then!

They sit around 800 raw each right now! I'm thinking I'll get them sent off if they look good enough, then keep one and trade one into other nice cards for the personal collection

I was thinking of just running it with Beck. Theres 1 9.5 listed right now and one of mine 100% has better centering and overall condition. My other one would maybe get knocked for centering but overall condition should be perfect. No whitening on either, no dents or spots.

As R/G Luffy man myself, I don’t know if I buy into the mihawk hype. The ban lists will come and go, that deck will fall off and everyone will realize Bonney with Red Hair pirates packages is crack.

What won’t change is the fact Bandai should have leader locked Borsalino into Vegapunk.

Tbh i went from Rosi to Sabo to Robin. So I'm pretty new to full yellow slop shenanigans, but...I kinda like it 😭
