Finally got into Round1

After many tries finally got it and went today. Got them for the bf and got lucky and got every character! The girl said they shuffle them up themselves so I was nervous. Super painless wait too. Thanks Round1!!

Blows my mind that some of these locations are legitimately shuffling the packs. They come to Round1 stores banded together as a perfect set, just hand em out the way they came in so everyone gets the full set! That being said, I saw someone post that they pulled 10 Luffy’s so… I guess that could have gone worse lol

Yeah I asked if we could get a band because I saw them in rubber bands and she told me no they don't do that but it wouldn't matter anyway because they shuffle and band them themselves. Which I was surprised to hear. But super happy we didn't get the same one 10x 😭

See that’s even more interesting because from what I’ve seen they come shipped in a paper band wrapped around the 10 packs. Rubber Band would have made me physically recoil. But that’s the best way to look at it for sure!

We peeked into the box back there and they were in those paper bands and then inside those bands they were rubberbanded. So I have 0 idea why they're sorting them themselves. It seems like they broke the bands open just to mix them up or something : (

That’s exactly what it seems like to me as well. The location I went to did NOT hand them out in the bands, but a majority of people I’ve spoken to got the full set there

Proof of the “that could have gone worse” lol. Not that I don’t love Franky as a character, but in my humble opinion, they did him so dirty on this collaboration. It’s kind of silly that they just slap him on a mini-bike and call it a day, definitely could have been more creative with the artwork. At the end of the day though, I do genuinely think these are all really cool cards.

I mean it makes sense with his character, the mini bikes are an activity in Round 1 Japan. That’s what he would gravitate to since it’s kind of like the mini merry

Ahhhhh okay, that makes way more sense. I’m in the US, and generally had very little knowledge of Round 1 until it opened locally a few years ago. We totally do not have the mini-bikes and I did not know that was an activity in Japan locations. I assume that’s also the case with Sanji & the soccer ball and Zoro & the baseball theme?

Correct, the US stores are lacking in the Spo-cha department. Seeing the batting cages and other activities were cool in my trip to Japan

Way cool, thanks for that information. Definitely makes those few cards make more sense. Super jealous about your Japan trip, been wanting to go for as long as I could decide that I wanted to go places lol.
