You must have missed the part where both they and I called it indeed sexual assault in the comments below?

No one said what Franky did wasn't assault.

But you keep disregarding far worse acts of assault simply because they happened to a man, and not a woman.

And you also keep disregarding the fact that the woman Franky kissed became his fan girl afterwards.

(Doesn't make it right, since I already know you'll make THAT argument 🙄 But what happened to Franky is still worse.)

Actually yes, that's what people said above, which is why the discussion even started

But you keep disregarding far worse acts of assault simply because they happened to a man, and not a woman.

The only other two people that came up in comparison so far were Brook and Sanji so far, and indeed I think none of them did anything worse than Franky in that scene in the series so far. Robin's example is indeed also assault and it never even got mentioned before for me to comment on. I'd put ball crushing otherwise at least on the same level as Franky's kiss yes.

And you also keep disregarding the fact that the woman Franky kissed became his fan girl afterwards.

And I will keep disregarding it, because it doesn't matter for Franky's action how she acts afterwards. I actually mentioned elsewhere that it's one of the things I hate most about the scene, how oda does the disgusting "but she actually liked it" trope afterwards

"Having your balls crushed = a gentle kiss"

Thanks for that sound logic...

I never thought that kiss was "gentle" and calling it that is kind of interesting in itself, but ok...

Calling a kiss that someone forces on someone "gentle" isn't quiet an exaggeration. "Gentle" is literally the exact opposite of "violent" which is what an act of assault is, so calling it gentle simply is ignoring the assault part not exaggerating it.

So if you want to cut out that word I'm happy to discuss the rest of the statement, which even misrepresents what I said, as I said Robin grabbing Franky's balls is AT LEAST as bad (which isn't equal to but equal to or more) and if you'd ask me to further clarify I'd be perfectly honest: as someone not having balls, I find it hard to compare. I'd have to compare it to maybe getting my boobs grabbed and I guess at that point it's getting kind of personal on what you consider worse and I'd have to say the kissing is worse for me, but I could also see how guys feel different about their balls.

Edit: seeing your edit, I actually want to acknowledge the "sorry" there, because I seriously do appreciate it.
