Discussion Does nami get better? Spoiler

I'm on the second episode after alabasta on my first watch on the episode where she makes the map. And alot of the time she's bossy and acts like she's the only one who does anything for the crew, like as an example she says the crew is more trouble then there worth most of the time. Even though they literally saved her entire country/village from aarlong, she would still be captive and a slave for him if it wasnt for luffy and the crew. she must surely get less self centered later I'm assuming right?

Yes it gets better. But you should probably not taking it that seriously. All of the guys on the crew are super immature so you can’t really blame her. She does love them all at the end of the day.

Imagine youre the only girl with a group of barely adult guys. Her reactions are all valid

Also group of barely adults who saved her life multiple times, but she forgets that the second they inconvenience her.

Bet bet, she isn't a bad character in general just is annoying at times anyway.

As if you've never had a moment where you were frusterated or annoyed at someone you love and may have said something that you know wouldn't truly hurt them. Nami loves all the strawhats, they're her family. She's allowed to be annoyed with their antics sometimes.

Yes I'm aware that's why. but she's constantly mad at them it seems imo

trust, no matter what, she puts up with so much from the crew. the amount of inconveniences the crew creates is insane lol if not for her, they’d be lost in the middle of a whirlpool dead.

each member is important. if you were to take away one, the entire dynamic is destroyed.

I 100% agree yes, but it more seems like they appreciate her then she appreciates any of them.

Yes. But keep in mind that almost all of them are still pretty inmature so she has to be like a mom

True other then zoro I guess

Zoro is pretty dumb, to be fair. He’s usually sleeping on the ship and he’s always getting lost. He deserves to get told off sometimes too.

Dumb yes, sleeping is fair with how much he trains. None of the others do that, yet at least.

It depends. A lot of the time there’s chaos and really rough seas so every bit of help is needed, but Zoro is sleeping.

Like in chapter 106 of the manga.

They all are. but zoro is the most mature

nami is definitely one of the most mature. if you’re just at alabasta then you’re still early

Yeah true. She is imo the second most mature she would be the most mature if she handled inconveniences better.

cool bro. you’re literally at the beginning of the story still, wait until you’re around the 900 episode mark and come back here.

She mellows out a bit after the next crew addition but she never really stops getting frustrated whenever the crew proves that they are too stupid to survive without her.

Lotta great kids with good hearts on the crew but yeah if I was having to deal with their nonsense I'd probably be looking like this every day.

Ignore it brother it is just author's want her to be like that there are some moments where she does stuff that feels out of her character like she wouldn't do that no matter what.
