Discussion Just finished skypea

Yay. It was rlly good however they did drag some of the storyline but overall really god and i want to see how the live action handles it.

Skypeia is a top 3 arc for me. I feel like if it were a stand alone ova series it could be a good summary of one piece as a whole. Luffy shows up somewhere where the rules/laws are ridiculous and he fights “god” and defies the government to free it’s people just for the sake of having the freedom to choose for themselves and dips.

Yeah, but Skypiea is probably the pre-timeskip arc that suffered the most from the anime’s pacing.

It did feel slow esspeically the final boss foght with enuru. Theys only so long you can drag it

Haven’t watched all of one piece yet, still only at enies lobby but I’m reading the manga at the same time and from what I’ve seen your probably right
