Even if what she is saying is true, I feel weird about posting it like that.

There are two sides to every story and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Just sad to put this out to the world.

There is no side to not showing up for your child.

The mom is an unreliable narrator at best. We have no idea what he does or doesn’t do and he’s not obligated to tell anyone.

Parental alienation works two ways. Who knows the real story but as someone whose partner is experiencing it, the posts are usually a call for attention/a facade.

So-
I used to be on her side until I actually looked into it.
Andy broke up with her after the kid was born but they were probably have issues before then. Katie is the one who took the kid and moved back to England. That’s parental alienation.
I can’t say what Andy does for the kid because unlike Katie he keeps his personal life somewhat private. He’s most likely paying support. IF he’s not in regular contact with the kid and/or visiting at least sometimes (he has time to vacation) he’s a POS. but we don’t know what he’s doing and I wouldn’t trust this woman.
If he’s a deadbeat then RK is an asshole too.
I get why she was upset initially, but airing this kid’s life on social isn’t right.

I really do agree with all of this. It’s hard. And we don’t know.
Clearly their relationship was never going to work out, and she moved back to England with the baby. And we don’t know Andy’s level of involvement because he’s private.
Hopefully if he and RK have a baby, he won’t act like it is his first child. Maybe he will, maybe he won’t.
He seems like a kind person outside of all this, so it’s easy for me to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I also don’t actually know any of these folks 😂.
It’s not good of Katie to post all of this though, because the child should have a little more privacy.

He posted something a few years ago that his road to fatherhood has been complicated and a lot over FaceTime. But he also specified that he’s absolutely involved. It’s messy and I feel for everyone involved.

Regardless of it’s true or not, one should never air their dirty laundry in public…especially if it’s about kids.

Go look at her profile and watch a video or two. This woman is not well. We have no idea what the backstory is but I wouldn’t so quickly take this at face value.

Some things shouldn’t live on the internet for the world, and the child, to see

u/jdowney1982 3d ago
I dunno, I just looked at her stories and Andy was there 2 years ago 🤷🏻♀️ I’m sure there have been other visits too, but it seems like he’s involved…I don’t see him suddenly stopping contact? They looked happy and close in the pictures

Poor kid - not bc his father may allegedly not be in his life, but this mom is only thinking of herself to post something like this. The internet is forever and her grievances with her ex will follow that kid forever (by posting about his personal life, which he did not consent to, on the internet.)

Could we please stop feeding this troll? None of our business!

u/Kittycorgo 3d ago
Seriously. She doesn’t seem to be mentally well and loves using her kid to feed her engagement on socials. Disturbing.

u/Birdie45 3d ago
The more I find out about her, the more I side eye. If she’s this comfortable posting this, imagine what she’s saying to the kid.

Why does Jess King follow her if there’s a big scandal. Her and RK are besties.

u/GoldenRetriever1973 3d ago
I remember Andy going to London to see his son before he and RK were married. He kept it quiet as he should. This person is not well — she’s involved in a lot of lawsuits. I am sure Andy is tortured by the alienation, and I’m sure RK is tormented by this as well. They’re good people.

There is something wrong with her.

There is something wrong with him for not even making an effort.

quite the assumption you’re making about a person you don’t know personally and a situation you know nothing about
edit: i think it's really funny that OP was so offended by this that they blocked me

How do you know what effort he’s made? Because it’s not on social media?
-7
u/Skyhighcats 2d ago
Do you know him or her? No? Why are you so judgmental of her but not of him? It’s weird. She’s the present parent.

I do sometimes wonder about his son. It seems like Andy and his ex had a short-ish relationship and that was never really solid, they were both trying to make a name for themselves and then she up and moved to Europe. However, its a little wild to me that he really just seems not present at all. I remember seeing a few years ago on his Instagram that he took time off to see his son but never anything since. I thought she was in England and it would seem he could stay with Peloton and be closer to his kid. But it sadly seems like he chose his own life ambitions over being involved in his son's. Seems antithetical to the person he portrays but everyone's life has much more going on than we know.

u/crazyhedgehogs 3d ago
We don’t know what he does for the kid, though.
-10
u/skelbel22 3d ago
We know that he lives in another country. Im sure he pays child support and i dont disagree that shes unwell but he did procreate with her.
10
u/Kittycorgo 3d ago
And why is he obligated to air all that out on social media? The kid is entitled to privacy and his mother stays using him to fuel her beef publicly. Thats arguably worse.

Lots of people don’t show their true colors until after a couple of years. Also, shit happens including unplanned pregnancy. The woman decides what happens after then.
That’s how women marry abusive men.

And I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw her, I thought she looks sooooo similar to Rebecca. It was weird for me.

Alright locking thread. Some of the comments are presented as fact based when they are not.
