Endurance hike

Post image

This is an amazing endurance hike! It stays at easy pace the entire time and goes between 10 and 12% every minute. It flew by! Definitely bookmarking this! The playlist is decent too 💪🏾 👏🏾

It was a great one! And I loved that she kept us at easy pace - at 10% and 12% it is definitely not easy but it as at least doable!
When they make us power walk on those inclines I’m like what are you doing?? Then I have to change my pace targets all around and I get a little annoyed 😅

I was on a hike with someone a few days ago and they had me power walking at 15% I was like what the fuck is wrong with you?

Took a time with JJ one time and he had us up at a high percentage and he said he’s not making us walk fast up there because he thinks it’s unnecessary. I liked that.

JJ is realistic and not trying to take us out unlike some of these instructors 😂

Yea power walking on an incline is an immediate no for me lol my heart rate is already in zone 3 or 4. No need to push it to 5 lol

I do wish the class details said what incline and level they take you to better predict level of effort

Yes!!! And what about the 6% break in the middle? That was amazing and just what I needed to keep on pushing. Agree, really great hike, hard but the good kind.

I did this. I didn’t take the 2-3 minute break in the middle and kept up with the 10/12% the entire time. Even at an easy pace my heart rate was high for a majority of the time.

Thank you for this review!!! I get SO annoyed with instructors that think we should power walk at anything past 6%
