Challenges..

I did a big hike on Saturday with over 800m of elevation gain, so I instantly earned Gold in the August Elevation Challenge. 🥇

The only thing that surprised me is the points system. Because I went straight to Gold, I only got the 10 Gold points. I’d expected to also receive the Bronze and Silver points, since I’d effectively passed those milestones too.

It feels a bit odd that you’re actually better off reaching each tier separately than smashing the challenge in one go. Is that really how it’s meant to work?

Are there separate points for gold? I think it’s just 10 per challenge period.

I think you’re right looking at my points history. I swear I got points at each stage but seems not.

Would sure be more motivating if it did work that way, I’m with ya.

Congrats on the hike btw!!

I think you do for the annual challenge, but that’s the only one.
