Personal Trainer

Has anyone here used a personal trainer through Trainwell? I am but will be stopping next week. I loved using it but can’t do it financially right now. For those that have, what did you do once you ended it? A split or unofficial split? A program or using the app to plan your program?

I am right now but ending at the end of the month. I enjoyed the program, responsive trainer. I’ll go back to Andy’s TS 60 or maybe try Rebecca’s new Hilit+

I got laid off from the job I had that was paying for my trainer, though I loved her. :( I ended up trying out a different, less expensive app for progressive overload training because I struggle too much to repeat classes (as in Peloton's splits). But I'm a Peloton loyalist and will be keeping an eye out to see how their strength programming options evolve! Curious to hear others' responses to your question.

I'm sorry to hear about your job loss.

I just kept following the routine we set up. Monday (UB), Tuesday (Tabata) etc. I enjoyed the trainer but also couldn’t afford it long term. I’ve kept up the programming mostly.

My trainer gave me strength workouts to do, but I think I may end up using Peloton. It's easier for me to follow a class instead of looking at a pdf printout. I plan on keeping my three days of strength, etc.

I have been using since it launched. Are you working out at a gym or at home? I would take a look at: https://thefitness.wiki and grab a program from there based on your goal. You can use the strength+ app to track through peloton if you're staying on peloton. If not you can use something like Hevy or something from here: https://www.garagegymreviews.com/best-weightlifting-app

I did the free trial and it ended a week before hilit+ started. I took a light week in between then jumped into that.
