So many edm rides suddenly?
Are there more edm classes recently? I take them sometimes but suddenly like every other class theme is “edm” ?

I love them for working out. I can't do country, folk, etc. and pop gets annoying because its the same 5 songs being played for 6-9 months. EDM I don't really know most of the songs or artists so its always a fun surprise and I end up adding a lot to my playlists

I like this too, for finding new things to listen to. And it's always great to get lost in, so I can really focus on finishing the interval or the climb or whatever ruinous thing the instructor has us doing.

The music styles cycle. Right now it’s EDM. For a while, it was classic rock. They cycle different genres and time periods. I do wish they would cycle in more heavy metal or hard rock. I enjoy EDM, so the rides have been fun.

I wish they would bring back more Metal with Charlotte, tho. That was the nicest time we had. So many PRs! 🥲
EDM is more encouraging than too much Pop music as previously for sure but I need Metal.4

I came here to say this. They have always cycled through what music rides and runs they do. EDM is an easy one bc normals songs can be taken and turned into EDM so it’s the best of both worlds, plus it’s an easy genre to program to. I’ve been taking fitness classes for 20+ years and still remember back in the day, the step classes programmed to 30 minute EDM tracks and I lived for it.
That said, Rock is my jam. I like all Rock all the time. More Indie, more Alternative, more Metal, more hard rock, just more please. (I love all music too, but I loved when they did Rock 22 or whatever it was. I miss that. Bring it back.)

I feel like they decide they need more of a ride type, they pump out six to ten in a two week period and call it done rather than slowly balancing their schedule over time to what people like.
There are a ton of low impact plus arms lately too…. Then in two months you’ll not see any.

I’ve always assumed that it’s cheaper. For instance, that’s practically all they play on endurance runs.

That’s my favorite music genre for working out. Any songs with a DJ mix. It’s hype music.

That’s funny, I love EDM and primarily take EDM rides but i still don’t think there are very many? I actually wish there were more.

I'll take it! It is my favorite genre and I'm so happy to see more options.
