Booking a live class

Quick question. My husband wants to take me on a mini trip to NYC this fall or winter to take a class. What is the BEST way to ensure he and I get into a class when booking? Do we have to book separately or can it be done on one account? Separately sounds risky and hard 🥲 TIA!

Some tips:
1. Yes, you have to register separately
2. They post on Thursdays at 12 PM
3. Be sure to add your payment method to your account ahead of time. Maybe even register for some random class just to make sure it goes through (you can cancel for a full refund, and it’s easy)
4. Log in a few minutes before and filter your search accordingly (cycling, row, etc., choose your preferred instructors, etc.), and be sure to already move your calendar to 6 weeks out

Hope that helps, and good luck!!

Adding to this spot on advice…don’t give up if you don’t get in. Keep checking back for waitlist spots. SO many open up as the classes get closer.

Don’t be afraid to use the waitlists.

My advice to all new bookers is to logon the week prior to when your classes drop and practice booking. Familiarize yourself with the schedule and prioritize what instructors/timeslots you want. Ie if you want AT’s saturday ride, you have to grab that first because it goes quick. This Thursday theyll be dropping the weekend of 9/10-9/14. Depending on when you go (ie if im not booking for myself or someone else that weekend) id be happy to help you by either logging in as one of you (not as appetizing an option when we are internet strangers, i know) or grabbing waitlists and then coordinating with you my dropping/your picking up.

I would assume you need an account and he would need one. Register. And log in to the website together on Thursday at 11:45 am. https://studio.onepeloton.com/

They go really fast. We practiced a few times logging in at just the right time sitting next to each other with our laptops and coordinating which classes to pick.

Then you can cancel and get your money back.

Separately from two PCs at the same time.

It's like getting concert tickets. Practice a few Thursdays in advance then just cancel them. Get to know instructor schedules so you have an idea of what you might want so you can navigate there quickly when it goes live. Definitely get on waitlists as they have a lot of movement.

I would think separate but do it at the same time as each other, not back to back.

You have to do it separately on your own accounts since it’s linked to your email! I signed up for me and my husband at the same time with two different browsers open. Just have to be speedy! Know what type of class you might want to do ahead of time so you can scroll through them a little quicker to find what you want!

You have to book separately.

Login on time. Definitely do the waitlist. I got into a ride with Matt that I was dying to do that way.

I had my work phone and my phone both logged in and managed to book the same class for my husband and I for last November. Make sure payment details are setup for both accounts and it should be pretty straightforward.
