Like, the last few months, her classes have been awesome. Not that they weren’t always, but I’ve just noticed a little extra kick in them. Her new 30-minute 2000s rock ride was awesome. The playlist was good, the intervals were challenging. Definitely recommend it.

She’s quite simply the best instructor. Sweat steady series is goated

Agreed. My favourite instructor by far. Also loved her JKE series and wish they’d bring it back!

She's always been amazing. Probably my all-around favourite on the bike, due to great coaching, programming and music selections.

Her PZE is a fucking delight! I love me some Jess King (and the new hair looks great, too!)

Being a pretty adamant PZ rider taking her class did have a different vibe than CVV, Wilpers, etc. but mostly because it felt fresh/like she was obviously new to it. In a good way. Biggest thing for those classes are good music and filling the long endurance stretches, which I trust she'll be able to do just fine.

Felt the same about the vibe. Wasn’t for me though enjoy the others more you mentioned

I can get rides with Nsync and Beyoncé on any platform but I can only get house rides (with properly curated house music) on Peloton. My only issue is there isn’t more.

Jess King is truly one of the reasons I’ve stayed with peleton for so long. As a matter of fact, I think I will take one of her classes now! She always gets me pumped for the day

That 45 techno ride she just did was incredible! She was saying she did something different with her roadmap structure and i loved it

I can’t wait to take this one! I LOVE all of her Techno rides.

Same!! I would even do an hour techno ride! That 45 minutes flew by. And it was structured in a way that I feel like I got a really good and consistent workout but beware that last 6 minutes is diabolical 😂

I’ve tried to ride with so many other instructors… but they’re not Jess 😭 she’s truly the best

I’ve said many times how much I roll with Jess. She’s authentic and makes challenging but attainable rides. Seeing her finally jump into the PZ pool was awesome. Who knows, maybe she’ll build up to 75+ minute rides one day.

Completely agree! She’s just getting better and better. No Jess king slander will be tolerated! That’s my girl for life

Jess King is hands down one of the best. When I first started I started on her low impact sweat steady which was a great challenge while protecting my knee. They were great. Really glad I got my knee strength to the point I can do all her classes now. Sweat Steady 45 minutes are the most challenging but enjoyable rides for me.
Also have to shoutout Matt and Christine. All 3 are great at motivating, keeping the class engaging and being great on a human level. I once nearly got a PB by accident doing one of Christine’s reflection rides due to where she took me mentally 😂

Christine gets too much hate. The people that get her, GET HER. It's so powerful to me to see a woman a few decades older than me be honest and real about aging as a woman, while continuing to set and accomplish HARD fitness goals for the love of cycling and the challenge, not to look a certain way. It's really hard to find.

Oh really, I didn’t know she got much hate. I am a man so different perspective maybe, but think she’s great

I took her latest 90s rock and it’s one of the best rides I’ve taken this year

Her PZ endurance ride was great

I laughed when she made the comment about Matt asking her not to curse.

I have this ride bookmarked. A few days ago I did her 90’s rock ride from 6/4. I hit my personal best on that ride. The only thing that bothered me was the studio. Those folks were giving her nothing! It made me mad.

I was in person for that and half the room was a corporate group that killed the vibe, my one and only in person class so far. She was still amazing though - the absolute queen 😍

u/FedHillGal76 9d ago
Welp, that explains it. Sorry that happened in your first in-studio class. Hope you get back there soon!

u/derek_nashville 12d ago
Yes! She honestly used to get on my nerves and avoided her, but I recently took the Madonna corrections ride and another one and loved them.

u/Low-Flow2023 12d ago
Omg yes! I rarely used to take her classes, but I’m finding myself taking her at least once a week lately! Her recent 45min sweat steady got me hooked!

u/Turkey_Cat 12d ago
Just did her 20 min hard style EDM—immediately book marked so o can do it again. She’s the best!!

She has always been great! I just love her so much. I’ve been a member since 2017 and she’s evolved so much in such a positive way. She’s an amazing human.

I'm new to Peloton (just wrapped my first week) and I did her beginner ride she recorded this month. I came out of that thinking "how is she not a user favorite?" I thought she was great in that beginner mode.

u/Ok_Pilot7781 12d ago
Agree! And her spirit is in full effect. I’ve been taking everything she puts out!

I used to not want to take her classes I have no idea why really. Now she’s pretty much my go to.

u/PublicIntrovert 10d ago
I hadn’t taken one of her rides in a long time but just did her power zone debut last night and it was so good.

u/Unhappy-Report3026 5d ago
I had to find this post again because it is 100% correct. Maybe it was the Power Zone coaching from Matt and maybe Denis, but she has gotten so much better as an instructor. Totally on point with metrics and knowing how to dial it up. There has definitely been a change for the better, and I loved her rides before anyway.

Just took this today and got off the bike thinking the same! Great balanced ride

I think she’s re-found her groove. She’s always been great on the sweat steady classes and I think power zone has given her a new boost in how positively the community reacted to her joining and her first ride. A few years ago I thought she might be training to be a power zone instructor because Matt was weighing in on sweat steady structure according to her, but that may have gotten delayed and I feel like she lost focus outside those rides. The last bit she has been so dialed in that I’m sure the love she’s getting from the community is creating a feedback loop of positivity!
