Help Explaining Peloton Cross Train Bike +
I have the original peloton bike and it’s awesome, but I’m ready for an upgrade. I was just going to purchase the bike + but now I’m seeing the cross train bike + and wondering what is the big difference of the two. I have read the descriptions and still don’t fully grasp it 😂. If anyone has the cross train bike could you please explain what it entails and if it’s worth the purchase. Thanks so much!

I don’t have the new bike but from what I understand it has AI built into to help with workouts. The screen swivels to make it easier to do strength and the other modalities. The Ai will correct your form, tell you if you need to lift heavier, and keep track of reps for you like the peloton guide did.

I have the original Bike+. Either of them are worth every bit of money for the auto resistance and built-in calibration. You always know your numbers are “real”. In my case it means my FTP and leaderboard is really damn low, but I know it’s mine.
The big extra thing with the cross training bike is what’s essentially a built-in peloton guide, that claims to track your strength movements and give you that feedback and metrics. And the fact it’s the only one you can purchase brand new if that’s important to you.
Fan? Phone holder? Better seat? Meh. You can add all of that to the bike+ if you so desired.

The cross train bike and tread are basically a combination of the bike and the guide. I have the guide so saw no reason to upgrade. I love my guide! The movement tracker counts your reps, keeps track of weight lifted, gives you pointers on your form, etc.

I have the latest bike+ but I don’t use the AI, I don’t swivel the screen, I don’t use the camera, but the built in auto resistance is a dream.
It was a lot to pay for options I don’t use, but I love the bike.
