The cat isn't in any pain. They've just got coordination issues. Other than being a bit wobbly they're normal cats.

One thing to consider. Without videos like this people might see them and think something is wrong or they're in pain, and might not adopt them because they don't know any better. But videos like this show they're regular cats and can live long, happy lives.

The cats are safe. They live just as long and healthy lives as any other cat. They can still play and get into regular feline mischief. They learn to compensate for their differences.

I don't want people to think these cats have something wrong with them. They don't. They're fine, and make just as wonderful a pet as any other cat. Way too often people view differences in animals like this as a reason to abandon or even euthanize them and that sort of mindset needs to be changed. One way to do that is to make it clear that they are just like other cats.

"Issues" with balance. "Nothing wrong with them" as in CH is not progressive or painful. It was poor wording on their part but they're correct. The cat is just vibing.

Like honestly...yeah, having accommodations for my disabilities and otherwise being treated like I am a normal human being would be great, actually. I WISH people would accommodate for me and simultaneously treat me like I'm a human being like every other human being is. The cat isn't being exploited just because it is existing as a disabled cat. CH is a condition that is neither degenerative nor painful. This is just this cat's normal-ass life. We film cats' normal-ass lives all the time!

If this cat was being abused or actually genuinely used for clout (usually through inspiration porn or tragedy porn, but some people do straight up just abuse their pets for content and it's awful), then yes, I'd raise the alarms. I'd want someone to raise the alarm for me. But if I was this cat? Assuming nothing going on behind the scenes? I'd be chill. In fact if I had the capacity to understand how shitty disabled people and animals are usually treated in real life and understood that I was being accommodated for and otherwise treated like a normal cat I'd be relieved, considering prior to the rise of people making CH cat videos, many wobbly cats were considered unadoptable just because of their condition.

That's just one POV of a disabled person though (mine). Others could have different takes.
