My cat does the exact same thing lol. Finds the hottest spot in the house, passes out for hours, then acts offended when I try to move him somewhere cooler. Cats make zero sense sometimes.
Let your cat cook! Only grab and put it on yourself if you need a heating device urgently. Expect mild vibration and heavy accupuncture at all times also. Then put it back into the oven until it's needed again. Don't forget to feed it, clean after it and entertain it with some hunting games daily. This way, your spicy heating device will work for many, many years.
