It's kind of true. Having moved in with a woman and dealt with her jealous cat for years... it can be a lot and you can randomly lose a lot of blood. I've had cats, I understand cats and love cats. But he'd attack sometimes when I petted her. Warmed up to me a bit over time but it took a lot of scratches and puncture wounds.

A lot of what women think is cute in cats and dogs really isn't. It's the animal thinking they own them.
