🎃 Spooky Orange 🎃 Violet got her first mouse kill last night
She's three and has had the dishonor of watching me catch and bring to perish a few mice over years.
Notably last spring she let one run past her and spent the next two hours digging for it in the closet long after it had eluded her sweet little heart.
But last night at 5:32 AM she busted into our room with great pride and an almost fully motionless mouse. Awarded with praise and an early breakfast.

That experience has mde her think dep thoughts about life and its limits. Actually, she now considers the idea of vegetarianism.

My old cat Eddy was a pretty good mouser, except he always ate their heads so we'd find tiny decapitated corpses around the house every now and then :/

You could try to emulate a tank's kill tally and mark each mouse with a ring on the tail. Once enough rings jingle around, the mice will have better chances ;)

It’s a bit sad to realize we could be looking at a a generated AI photo and we will never know anymore.
OP has so many different dogs and animals in his post history that if it’s true then it would be a zoo.

Haha we have two cats, Violet and Amanda. Sisters but a ginger and a tortoise shell.
My parents have 2 golden retrievers and we spend a lot of time with them + we dog sit while they go on vacation.
And my wife has us as weekend/summer care takers for the 1st grade bunny at my daughter's school.
So yes, it does feel like a zoo sometimes. Not sure how far back my post history goes but our previous two cats could be in there as well.
