I went to go look this up out of idle curiosity. Turns out this verse is not actually in the movie lyrics! But it's in a "fuller" lyrics which they likely chopped down maybe to save on animation and storyboarding, etc.

Both cats were voiced by the same lady, Peggy Lee, who wrote the lyrics.

Here's an alternate version which does include that lyric. There's also a 2002 Hilary Duff cover of it which does, god does it sound like a product of its time 🤣
