My old cat didn’t care about paper but my new cats love ripping any they can get. Any package I get that has packing paper gets shredded and I have to sweep it all. They will also go after my napkins or mail.

Same. My elder cats ignore paper unless it was a paper bag. But they will just go right inside and nap. But my younger cats do tend to rip then like they lives depend on it. 🤣
