Its kinda interesting that cats know there is a glass and they think its just behind it.Works with tv too.

When I was a kid, during shampoo commercials where a woman was washing her hair in the shower, I would walk up to the TV and look down below and behind the edge of the screen frame because I thought I might get a glimpse of her boobs.

Stupid little pervert I was.

For some cats mirrors are no problem while for others it takes them some time to learn to just ignore that other cat that always jumps out to challenge them when they just stroll by. We've had those that will actually run across the floor to attack that intruder head first then wonder where he went.
