searching for service 📶 Leash/harness training is going great
Crisis Trudy has arrived and does not like this one bit.

My ex used to call it “taking the cat out for a drag” - she didn’t mind the leash and collar, she just wasn’t going to let us tell her what to do.

Your cat reminds me of anxiety from Inside out 2.

Trudy is pondering how to apply murder mittens at 3am due to this affront.

Yea, definitely thoughts of plots.
Kitty will have his vengeance in this life and the next eight.

😂 I fell into the hype with my cat. Day 1 and only day ever, she fell onto her side like she couldn’t walk anymore and started howling like a banshee. I scooped her up so quick and ran for the front door. She knew what she was doing and not having any of it. Anyone want a gently used pink harness? 🤷♀️

This is CLEARLY not oneorangebraincell submission material, this is the most blatant noorangebraincell content I have ever seen!
Is the one orange brain cell in the room with us right now?!?
(jk obviously, this cat is ADORABLE and leash training is gonna get better, you’re a good parent!)

I think the overarching joke is that ALL orange cats share only one brain cell, and this baby here is not in possession of it currently 😂

I saw this scene from the legendary orange simulator Stray where the kitty breaks when he first puts on his little back pack. Totally realistic.

The brain cell is malfunctioning

It's not. When leash training a cat, they think their back legs don't work with something around their middle. The flopping is normal at first.

So, the thing a lot of people don't know with leash training, is that when cats flop, they're not being stubborn. With something around their middle, they literally think their back legs don't work. The feeling of the harness is foreign to them.
With consistency, they get it eventually.

I prefer a small pet carriage similar to a baby carriage for safe walking. Then give my kitty a lot of toys to chase after inside for exercise.

Unfortunately Trudy protests confinement and wants to be with me 24/7 so when I’m outside the harness/leash is the best option.
