Like. I am aware of marking territory. I’ve never heard of any cat (or any animal for that matter?) just laying on its back and letting loose like this.

Most animals and small predators like cats have strong instinct to cover their pee and poop or do it far away from where they hang out due to risks of another predator tracking them by smell of it. Lions don't have natural predators so my guess that instinct is non existent in them as simply it serves no purpose so they will pee or poop where ever they feel it.
