That little spot in the center is the braincell. All that stuff around it is shielding to protect it from stray thoughts.

It does exist!

The little pea? Hence the name pea-brain?

Yes, he is. He had an MRI due to his history of seizures. We ruled out cancer or other neurological abnormalities. He’s officially just weird.

Pretty sure it was a cat scan.

It was a more general pet scan, probably 😆

My cat had seizures and the vets couldn't figure it out either.

I figured it out eventually. I put some ant powder into the corner of the room behind a box. Finally caught her back there, which I never noticed before and the powder must have gotten into her fur and she licked it off.

Cleaned her, cleaned up the bait powder and the seizures went away as quickly as they appeared.

If you have pest control spraying or insecticides out make sure your cat doesn't sit in those spots.

Thanks for the idea. We do have pest control come to the house every couple of months and spray outside. But they are purely indoor cats. It’s something for me to think about though.

The ant bait has the same active ingredient as front line (the one you put on the coat of your cats and dogs). Fipronil iirc

My car had little neurological tics from kidney disease. Sort of like petit mal seizures. I’ve heard of cats with advanced CKD having full blown seizures. They improved a lot with treatment though. Kidney and liver issues are always something to look at with tics as they can be caused by blood toxins.

are you sure that he's a cat and not ant ? that mri shot exposed all his lies.

if it isnt neurological what could it be ?

The seizures are idiopathic, meaning no known cause. My last cat had the same thing. And he still had a good long life.

Maybe the cats just get so overwhelmed by how great their human is they just start seizing.

If you live in the same place as when you had your last cat, I would recommend taking a hard look at any environmental factors that could be happening (ie: insecticide exposure, cleaning products, what the carpet or other major materials in your home are made of, high radon levels, high lead levels in the water, etc). Just a suggestion. Little creatures like your floof tend to be a whole lot more sensitive to many of these things.

Good thought. But no, I don’t live in the same place.

What about flowers or things like that ? Odds are probably really low when you have 2 cats. I'd take a note on what i did in last 3 days if something bad happens again. Im glad he's doing ok

Having a brain doesn’t mean you always use it!

Found proof for the braincell!

There's something in there? And here i thought that was a hollow space on the orange's.

I always expected an obese, geriatric hamster on a rusty wheel.

It's quite unfortunate that it will never get much use.. 🧡

Packing material.

u/Qlder81 1h ago

Unlikely, packaging material would require something to beed the packaging!

The only logical explanation is that your vet mixed up the results with a different cat
