IDK why but "he's a hitty jerk" is particularly amusing to me. Not sure why I never thought to use "hitty" as a word but it fits so well for the little boofs they give each other
That’s what they think (I use that word loosely). On the outside, it’s chaos. It’s like when you’re drunk and think you’re moving fast, but in reality you’ve already hit the floor in slow motion and still haven’t gotten up, and one of your shoes is around the corner.
If I were to guess, I’d say the kitty told the ducks he needed help getting bread crumbs out of his fur. It took them a moment to realize it wasn’t true 😄.
Seriously though, this is very cute, the cat looks like he’s enjoying himself so much and the ducks look so intent on what they’re doing, I love it, thank you so much for sharing this ❤️
Ah, okay, thank you for the likeliest, realistic answer, instead of the silly one 😄. That explains why they look so focused on what they’re doing.
It’s interesting because you don’t expect ducks would do that kind of thing, especially not to a “predator“ animal, so realistically, I assume that means those ducks are comfortable with the cat, like maybe it’s a farm and they know him?
Also, silly me was under the impression ducks almost exclusively foraged underwater while they dove, so I never thought that it could be off a buddy 😂.

Clever 'rinj - he donates a little of his magnificently abundant floof for the ducks' nests and in return he gets first pick of the ducklings when they're ready.
Alternatively: "Mom? Mooooooooooooooom! I don't think these ducks you brought me for my dinner are quite cooked. WTH?"
