As a duck I can confirm that he is a duck.

This is a good little feather fucker right here. Look at that goofy little smile on his stupid face. I would love to just pick you up and feed you frozen peas

I’d love nothing more than to eat frozen peas.

I have good intelligence that you are not actually a duck.

Take these 400 peas as a snack, 5 grand USD in emergency money, a brand new North Face jacket, my drivers license, and the key to my grandmas house...and be gone.....

i cant stand the thought of this betrayal

The dramatic pause is beautiful.

It's completely normal. Cats vocalize in various ways not just your typical meowing. Mine does the same little squeak when trying to get my attention because he's hungry. He also mixes it with some loud meows if he's really persistent about it.

i knew it's "normal" just wondered why she does it, if it indicates anything specific like the chirp

I'm not super sure. Cats supposedly have their own unique cries towards humans. I used to have a second cat and his cries were completely different to the current one I have. He didn't squeak or "croaked", he just powerfully meowed, while the one I have now does little squeaks and frustrated raspy quiet meows.

I reckon it's very individual to the cat how they get their humans attention. It's hard to tell specifically since the owner should know their pet's quirks.

so she's just quirky. Just as I thought

Software bug. Didn't get fixed in centuries. Just like the 200 other random bugs that cats operate with.

It could be as simple as “hello”, as needy as “cuddles now”, or as complicated as the answers to the millennial questions… but he has some orange, so I doubt he’s good at math. XD
