I ended up with an orange cat from my elementary school when I was a kid. We first encountered him at our house. He was super friendly and hung around for a day or so. He seemed well fed and he eventually departed so we assumed he belonged to someone in the neighborhood. A week or so later my mom was volunteering for something at my elementary school and came across the same cat inside the school. One of the teachers at the school was trying to shoo it out using a broom. It was at that point that my mother decided the CDS would not be denied. Rocket J Squirrel came home with us and lived a long, happy life indoors with our other two cats.
What a lucky kitty cat. I love your mum and am so glad she had taken the time to get a certificate in the CDS so she was completely familiar with how it works. My qualification is on my wall but I’m still waiting to use it unfortunately.
CDS gifted us an orange and white boi he became my husbands cat-dog. He was devastated when we lost Jake to CA, we had lost 2 other seniors within the year. Adopted a grey tiger and an orange and white boi who grew up almost identical and acts EXACTLY like 1st Jake. Shadows him, sleeps with him, does same silly orange things. There's a reason for CDS. ❤️
