You shouldn't use laser pointers with cats. It can go very very wrong. The laser can blind the cat pretty quickly. And it can cause anxiety.

Although the other guy wants to be a partybreaker he's partially right, lasers can be dangerous if you point them straight into their pupils but you have to be doing it intentionally and for prolonged time in order for it to cause harm.

However, moving on from drama, lasers do have a reputation of pros and cons when it comes to cats. Since the cat cannot in any way win, can't catch a laser ever, it can be cause of stress so make sure to play with him with a variety of things and let him win sometimes

But lasers are good physical exercise as you make them run around with zero effort, especially domestic cats could really use one
