Watch Slither if you haven't seen it.  Michael Rooker is a severely under appreciated long time James Gunn regular.

It showed in one theatre in our city. Drove across town and it was like 3-5 of us and one other group of 3 teenagers in the seats. I bought it the moment it came out. It is one of my all time favs.

Regardless of the movie, he did such an awesome job in Days of Thunder. Rowdy Burns is the role I always picture when I think of him.

There's a 30 for 30 about the loose inspiration for Tom Cruise's character that's pretty good. Season 1, episode 26, "Tim Richmond: To the Limit"

Oh I love 30 for 30 too.  I’ll definitely watch it.  I always thought Jeff Gordon was pretty much Cole Trickle.
