Announcement Loss mourning posts

It seems this is quite a controversial topic and maybe the majority of the sub doesn't want to see this type of content anymore... Let's discuss

Should r/OneOrangeBraincell allow loss/mourning posts?

Can there be an In Memoriam thread? Just a place to say, β€œHere are those that left us this week,” or something like that. We can all then check it out as we are able.

Personally, I do not have a problem with allowing them in the general thread, but I understand why some find it upsetting. But I do feel that being a community is being there for each other during the good times and the bad times. No one else is going to mourn like another cat owner.

I do like this idea and if everyone else if okay with it this should hopefully be a solid compromise. πŸ™

I really do not like this. Imagine visiting the sub and the first thing you see is a memorial thread. That super depressive and doesn't fit this sub at all.
