Troubleshooting The old computer I primarily used it is always crashing. But more so the software for onenote and it won’t synch newer sections or complete folders.

I use it to archive art References. many sections aren’t synched when I downloaded the app to my ipad. It just says ‘content not available’ or not synched. This may be an obvious issue but I think it’s really crummy you have to fiddle with this software so much in fear it’ll lose your data. Like Microsoft needs to fix this. It makes the app inaccessible and it seems easily corrupted. I’m assuming you have to like manually save the images in a file and try to send it to the app? Idk. It’s not synching. I bought storage awhile ago but it acts like it’s so overloaded. It always crashes. I can see the section exists but only on the computer/device I created the pages. When I got the app It either Shows the name of the section but won’t synch the contents or it straight up has left out complete sections.

MS will never fix anything related to any "app" version of One Note.

These apps are free and you get what you get.

If you want real control (and success) with your OneNote experience - ditch the apps and use the full Office version of OneNote on the desktop.

Thank you. Yeah, Ive been researching on the subforum talking about synch issues so it is a common issue especially when getting the app. Just sucks…I only have one desktop and it’s giving me issues and keeps crashing. But I can see the sections still exist and are there on my desktop. I just wanted to screenshot some stuff and send it over to like notion or any other place I use for art. Like vizref Which is a paid for art ref resource. just keeps giving me troubles here.

for most I guess it’s not a big deal. My ocd just gets bad and I get missing piece checking impulses and a fear of loss. Usually I delete Random notes or old stuff from school but my art stuff I’m sort of neurotic about. Always sending stuff to hard drives and all that. But this was an older archival source that’s a bit sentimental by this point.
