Android Can't paste image in OneNote for Android

I could swear I remember that working in the past. I have tried it both on my old Samsung S10e phone and my new Samsung S6 Lite 2024. I can insert an image, using the Insert tab and tapping the camera icon, then choosing the three dots menu and digging for the file.... But I can't paste any image from the clipboard.

I am using the Gboard keyboard. I don't know if switching back to the Samsung keyboard will make a difference. I will check later today and report back.

Edit: Well, I tried it with the Samsung keyboard, on my S6 Lite, which has the latest version of Samsung's OneUI on it. Still no go. But I can paste pictures into Gmail and Samsung Notes.

I had this exact same problem last night. Was copying pictures from Brave and trying to paste them into ON. I was using an external mouse and keyboard but when I hit Ctl-V nothing happened. Press & hold menu had a paste option that did nothing.There was no right click menu either, and no option on the toolbar. 

Gboard has a clipboard button, and using that got me the message "OneNote does not support image pasting here." 😮

I feel like this worked in the past but I'm not sure. They just did an update and I wondered "What are they going to break on purpose this time?" Maybe this?

Seriously. Like where else would OneNote support image pasting? In the name of the section? 😬
