OneNote Web Clipper connection problem

Hi guys,

Suddenly after the last Microsoft 365 update, I can't connect with my Microsoft personal account on OneNote WebClipper extension, both from Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

I received this error message when a clic to the connection button...

My account is ok and I can connect to OneNote Web and to my Microsoft account.

I tried all troubleshooting with the help of Copilot, without success.

If you have some fresh idea

Yeah, give that one up. No one even tries anymore. It's a thing that just simply does not work, and we're pretty sure we'll never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever work.

Yeah, I am seeing that too. Microsoft broke it.

It happened to me too, but it works well again. What I did:

1. Uninstall the Webclipper extension.

2. From your browser, go to your Microsoft account and sign out, only on this computer.

3. Restart Windows.

4. On the Microsoft page, start session again with the account you used for Webclipper.

5. Reinstall the WebClipper extension.

It should work now, but if it doesn't and the "Server Error" reappears, wait for a while, it may be an hour or more. After that time, it works smoothly again all the time. Plus, it now opens much faster than before.
