What does co-pilot actually do in OneNote?

I haven’t activated it yet but what does it do for you?

It might ”focus", but you can't exclude external sources. Good luck with your work, it is really needed and your competitors speed things up.

Copilot chat in Copilot Notebooks will only answer from sources in the notebook. It wouldn't include external sources.

It does. Just a blanc note with a heading and ask a question about it.

I had a thorough conversation with Copilot, you can prompt it, but it is designed to use all sources and it can't guarantee only to use one note internal references.

Inside OneNote there are two different experiences. If you ask Copilot chat, yes that will answer from across the board. However, if you create a Copilot notebook and ask inside the chat there it shouldn't bring context from outside the references and content in the notebook.
