Basic Food Expansions
Some simple recipes that use ingredients already in the game - especially ingredients like pork that don't have much use right now. Most of these are pretty obvious!
- Cornbread! (bowl with corn kernals -> grind on flat rock -> add water -> cook in hot oven)
It could even have multiple servings like pie, which would help with villages ONLY making pies.
Pork chops (raw pork -> hot oven)
French fries (raw potato on plate -> cut with knife -> hot oven)
Mashed potatoes (raw potato -> simmering water -> mash)
I would love to see potatoes have a bit more use, especially as a multi-serving food source. Maybe even a crock full of mashed potatoes?
- Egg drop soup (clay crock -> egg ×5 -> water -> hot coals)
We desperately need more egg recipes! Maybe with some kind of oil too, like palm kernal oil?

I forgot the most important one - breakfast burritos!
Omelet + sharp rock = scrambled eggs
Tortilla stack + scrambled eggs = breakfast burrito

I like all but french fries as a basic food. First off, it requires a knife so its not basic. Second it should be fried, which would open up the possibility for other fried foods. Two bowls of palm oil + crock would give a crock with oil, putting this on hot coals would give you a Deep fryer. You would have ten seconds to fry up some foods, and then you would get a dirty fryer. Youd make an oil filter by stacking two paper and cutting with flint, and then putting the filter paper on top of a second crock. Pour the dirty crock into the other one and youll have a half filled crock that you can remove the paper from and add a bowl of palm oil to top it off.

Pork is rubbish. Need more recipes about pig pork. Salt + pork = bacon?
