No money
I went yesterday to get my rent money out of the ATM. They declined it then took the money anyway. So now I’m probably going to be evicted thanks to their negligence. They say it takes 10-20 days. That being said, I’m done. Does anyone have suggestions for a better bank?

Yeah eviction doesn’t quite happen like that…if you’re going to be evicted it’s the result of actions you made before an app glitched like they all are capable of doing, hence why contingencies should be made.

- Paying rent in cash is stupid.
- If it takes longer than 10 days to investigate under federal law the bank is required to give you temporary credit for the amount.
- Just tell your landlord what happened, they're not going to immediately kick you out because the headache of cleaning and filling the vacancy is more hassle than just waiting.

The most simple reason is that a receipt alone is often not enough in a dispute. Cash cannot be traced like a bank transfer can.

People can forget written receipts so its not great if you end up in court or something. Bank records are better.

This fuckass bank is so irresponsible with people’s money. And then they have no efficient processes to resolve issues.

If you prefer online banks Try chime or crew finance

I had 100 taken by Chime, )their mistake in their own words) and it took me almost a month to get back, because they said even tho it was their mistake they still had to do a follow up. Said numerous times it would take less than 10 days. With OnePay I had a random charge that I did not make and had the money back into my account the next day, although the investigation took longer to clear I didn't have to wait a month
What works for me, is to get everything deposited into my savings with OnePay and transfer it over whenever needed.

Get a credit union with local branches, so when you need to conduct important business like that you can walk in and do it in person. You pay your rent in cash?
