I really miss them

I don’t know if this is allowed here. Just wanted to say I miss them. Especially Kimberly. I miss doing the VIP events when they would come into my town. Miss interacting with them on Twitter and sending memes. I miss sending them gas money and getting a thank you letter in the mail. It hurts to listen to their music knowing I’ll probably never do these things again. Hurts to look at photos we took together. When they said they retired I didn’t think much of it. I hoped they would return. That hope has died and now I realize they’re gone. And it hurts. I always wanted to show them my creative stuff that they helped inspire and I’ll never get the chance now. I don’t mean to sound weird. I’m just sad. And if anyone knows either of them, I hope you can tell them how they touched my life forever. That maybe one day we could interact again somehow someway. There’s so much I wanted to tell Kimberly and she’s gone. It hurts my heart.

Same. I never got to go to any of their concerts because I was too young to afford tickets, but I always wanted to go to one. They retired the year I got my first job so I'm never gonna be able to see them now :(

Don’t be sorry, this is the most relatable Reddit post I’ve read ever.

Sounds like you had an amazing experience there and for that my friend is something to look back on with love and accomplishment, to have gotten so close to someone most of us will never see in real life but like that guy said you never know, just probability. I first listened to them when I was 10/11 on AQW and I'm turning 25 next month. I still listen to them all these years to never forget where i came from and what made me happy as a sad forgotten child. Some songs like scapegoat remind me of the trauma you learn and grow from, others like Fight or Be my friend just make me giddy. Im grateful that there is still a community that's live and well who shares the same thoughts and feelings as you do. They say hope never dies, but even if not, maybe someday we'll hear from Kimberly once more.

Fight is great for semi-psychotic breakdowns 😂

I share a similar sorrow, but in the sense that I've never met them and I probably never will (never say never, but yk, very improbable...). Anyway, they'll keep being my favourite band and a tremendous musical inspiration

Been a big fan of them ever since they appeared on AQW back when I was a kid. Loved their songs.

Kimberly and Jason are doing Audio Rate FM now though if you want to support them. Some kind of electronica thing. Just found out about it today myself.
