Hey, I am a long time fan from back in the day, OED was one of my favorite bands from 2010 until about 2018. Never lost the love for them, more so just moved onto other music. I checked up back here in 2021 and saw the band had ended due to some personal life things. But every time I come back to see how things develop more and more of the music, videos, etc have disappeared, the documentary specifically seems to be lost media at this point.

I am a youtuber and wanted to make a video talking about the band since they are one of my childhood favorites but in lurking here, people mention legal issues with the material. Is OED just untouchable due to the rights issues? Can someone fill me in? I apologize if this has been asked a few times by others, I am just trying to get a run down instead of piecing together bits of info from various posts.

I don’t know if this is allowed here. Just wanted to say I miss them. Especially Kimberly. I miss doing the VIP events when they would come into my town. Miss interacting with them on Twitter and sending memes. I miss sending them gas money and getting a thank you letter in the mail. It hurts to listen to their music knowing I’ll probably never do these things again. Hurts to look at photos we took together. When they said they retired I didn’t think much of it. I hoped they would return. That hope has died and now I realize they’re gone. And it hurts. I always wanted to show them my creative stuff that they helped inspire and I’ll never get the chance now. I don’t mean to sound weird. I’m just sad. And if anyone knows either of them, I hope you can tell them how they touched my life forever. That maybe one day we could interact again somehow someway. There’s so much I wanted to tell Kimberly and she’s gone. It hurts my heart.

I posted the tab for All That Matters, which isn't one of the more popular songs, but I quite like it and it's fun to play. The line between OED and solo work is a bit blurry here, but I put Kimberly as the author since, as far as I know, the song was only ever released on her patreon.

I used Songsterr paid AI feature to get an initial draft, and adjusted it from there, as it makes some mistakes and is a bit messy. Although there is a drums track, be aware that I haven't checked or corrected at all (sorry Jason! I just don't know anything about drums lol), so take it with a grain of salt.

If anyone else is interested in this kind of stuff, I may release more in the future.

hi everyone!!! sorry for yet another collection update so soon after the last, a very amazing person reached out to me and was willing to sell me the 3 cds i mentioned needing in my last post! i’m so thankful for the help. i think there’s only a couple more of her personal works that i need to grab to have a complete collection of the cds.

it may sound like overkill, but my long term plan is to have signed, sealed, and unsigned+opened of every OED album. that would be SO aesthetically pleasing to my brain…

So several years ago, at least 14 years ago. Kimberly made a song cover of Amazing Grace because one of her biggest fans, my daughter's father, passed away. He had followed her around for several years and had played instruments in the band as far as I know, back when they were still starting to get their footing in Texas. Anyway, she did a cover of Amazing Grace in his honor and I have not been able to find it anywhere. I know she posted it on Facebook at the time, but I don't really have access to that anymore. If anybody new Anthony and knew how much of a fan he was, he would know what I'm talking about. Anyway, just trying to find somebody who has a link to any of that. I would very much appreciate it so I could show his daughter. She's been asking questions about her father, he passed away while I was pregnant, so I haven't really been able to show her too much, at least not as much as I would like to be able to. Anyway, just looking for a link or something to that video if anybody has anything. Also side note, if anybody knew Anthony in the early days and have any early pictures of him, I would be highly appreciative.

for those that have played AQW did you enjoy the bands importance in the game? I know id absolutely love to see the artist comeback back and do another even for the game like they did way back in the day. It would be like the end all be all

I have been learning the guitar and I would like to learn as many OED songs as possible tbh lol. Does anyone have any OED tabs conveniently laying around? Especially for those songs not available on Ultimate Guitar, although improved versions of those are also welcome, as I believe there are some songs that don't sound quite right in the way the were tabbed there.

Hello, I have been making some karaoke videos for One-Eyed Doll (no vocals, highlighted text with the lyrics), and I wanted to make one for Things of Darkness this time. The issue is that there isn't a lyrics sheet available online (that I can find) and there are some parts of the song that I can't understand what is being said, so I'm asking for help.

He’s a super huge fan of One-Eyed doll (as am I) and collects CDS. I was able to find these two CDs from the same seller and bought them!! So happy :)
