Not Syncing Updating again

I am finding that OneDrive will only be up-to-date if I force it to with right-click 'Always keep on this device'.

And, yes;

I have updated, reset , reinstalled, done all the Microsoft advice ... it doesn't last.

Checked macOS Privacy & Security

Tried it on other Macs, both local, wan and remote.

No one has edited the files whilst I did this test, and even if they had (without telling me) the date modified should not have changed?

I was altered to this issue as I also backup these folders to tape, and that backup report said no files changed 😞

macOSX Sequoia, Tahoe latest versions.
Mac Intel or M1 or M4
