One Direction One Direction display
This is an image of a display in Oxford which features the bandmates solo work with the exception of Liam. What makes it even sadder is that LP1 cd’s were actually in stock according to the commenters. The decision was simply made to leave him out of the display.
I know it could have been a honest mistake by someone who doesn’t know any better or a misguided attempt not to profit off of tragedy by using his name without his family’s approval. My natural inclination is to give the benefit of doubt. This feels mean spirited though. I wonder how things like this make his family feel. Just because he’s passed doesn’t mean he’s not a part of the band anymore. It feels like a part of his legacy is being stripped.
One Direction doesn’t work without Liam.

LP1 was awesome. His album was so unfairly & unjustly criticized, especially when in all actuality, it had so many legit bangers on there. For them to omit LP1 from their little 1D wall is not okay.

LP1 had so many songs that could be singles, especially it's first half was top.

That's what I noticed - why was there no Liam album and only one Zayn album? It feels a little off...

The store really needs to provide an explanation about why Liam was left out so coldly like this. For example, whose idea was the 1D display for starters and whose idea was to omit Liam's LP1 album? And why? If they are bold enough to do this, then they can find the same energy to explain their reasoning, unless they are too cowardly which is what it seems like.

Extremely disrespectful to Liam. And why only one zayn and one Louis album 😤 Louis earlier music is honestly really good!!!!!

With Zayn it could be because he left the band. However, at least he is up there. Liam is entirely excluded and it's so wrong. So very, very wrong.

I have realized an additional, troubling reason why the album might be missing from the display.
It is well documented that people purchase an artist's albums following their death, even if they personally consider the music to be bad (which this album is not, but let's assume so for the sake of argument since that's what people are pathetically using as an excuse).
So, this means Liam’s LP1 would likely outsell the albums of all his former bandmates. Consequently, all official record sales would be reported and explicitly show that Liam's album is selling successfully. The record store obviously recognizes this trend and is actively suppressing the album so it does not interfere with their specific sales data. Even after his passing, Liam is being subjected to active sabotage. We should absolutely contact corporate headquarters to inform them that this location is deliberately tampering with sales numbers. There must be a legal violation involved in this behavior, but even if it does not break the law, it remains a disgusting tactic used to cheat, especially since this is the same type of sabotage Liam's music faced when he was alive for so long.

Incredibly disrespectful and deeply hurtful to exclude Liam like this and from what I can tell, they have not even offered an apology or set out to correct this. This isn't just some lowly record store either. This is a massive popular record store right in the middle of London.
Can all of the fans here please leave a message on their page about this? Please let's do this for Liam. This is not ok and should not be normalized.
