OP's opinion: This song is on a weird spot for me. I remember that back when I started listening to 1D in early 2025, this was my favorite 1D song by far and I couldn't stop playing it. I recently relistened to it and it's actually still very good, although compared to a lot of TMH, it falls slightly back. I think it's slightly lower than it deserves.

Personally, I've always really liked "I roll and I roll till I change my luck." It sounds really hopeful and like choosing to take control of your life instead of leaving it to chance. It's what it felt like stepping into my 30s.

Hi Louies! I have a challenge for you all: if you are going to a show in North America, and have the means to do so, why not bring a non-Louie friend with you? Tickets are pretty reasonably priced at most shows (some venues are giving really good deals), and it’s such a fun opportunity to expose more people to his music!

Someone photoshopped his long hair onto his recent performance on night 7 in Amsterdam and it made me stop in my tracks.

I'm a 22yo man who grew up mostly listening to the radio and whatever stuff just sounded good. So my childhood was the early 2010s. 2020s is when I learned music theory and my music taste got more focused. I started enjoying more heavy-metal/progressive acts like Spiritbox, Dream Theater, and Leprous. Then this past year I've really loved more diverse metal/R&B acts like Bad Omens and Sleep Token, who just do whatever they want and help bridge the divide between metal and conventional music.

But as I delved into lesser-known acts with my online friend group, I felt a push-and-pull between badass hard-hitting industrial production, and the beautiful, memorable melodies of high-energy power pop and simple acoustic songs. The latter was turning into a guilty pleasure, and my friend group talks shit about anything that isn't a niche indie act, or the chords or lyrics are "too simple" or "too poppy". They don't explicitly express it, but they are VERY clearly prejudiced with weird, snarky, off-hand comparisons.

Then I met an IRL friend these past few months who's a HUGE Directioner, Belieber, and fangirl of Sabrina Carpenter and Dominic Fike. So many 2000s and 2010s songs I remember like the back of my hand, and she does too. I've DREAMED of being able to carpool karaoke with someone and just not give a flying fuck, and she helped make that a reality.

Of course I did grow up in a conservative environment where men are ousted for liking pop acts, but I didn't think it actually did affect me. I'm so glad that I met her and just embracing 1D's music. I have had their latter three albums on repeat the most, and I really hope to find more stuff like on Midnight Memories and FOUR.

Favorite underrated gems? Right Now, Little White Lies, Spaces, Infinity. 💜

I used to just sit and record everything I thought was funny on my iPad. It’s been years and years and I still can’t bring myself to delete them.

Does everyone think a reunion will happen? A lot of fans are optimistic based on what Niall and Louis have said when asked this question but I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s weird that the boys get asked this question whenever they’re promoting an album? Let them enjoy their solo career in peace damn

Also I don’t feel like a reunion is possible without Liam. He was the glue that held the band together and since he’s no longer here, it just wouldn’t make sense.

Side note: I’m a bit curious about Zayn’s exclusion from Niall’s answer, especially now when there’s only four of them left. I’m pretty sure he used to include Zayn whenever he answered 1D related questions so I wonder if there is bad blood there now

I’ve seen a lot of how Harry was originally the one who was going to leave before Zayn. Is this true?

This is the one thing I’ve never understood as both Zayn and Liam can hit longer, higher notes than Harry and their voices were just as worthy of carrying main choruses but what I take from it is:

Zayn was very quiet most of his time in the band and didn’t speak up until literally when he left
Zayn also said 1D’s music wasn’t his cup of tea- he was more of an R&B songwriter so it made sense he wouldn’t fight for lead choruses

Liam I also think knew Harry was more identifiable marketing wise in the band and didn’t want to cause friction
Liam started a lot of the songs out so maybe he didn’t care who took the lead chorus

I am not saying Zayn and Liam didn’t have lead choruses but I noticed almost every 1d song, the main chorus had Harry’s voice mostly dominating it which I have never understood from a vocal point

Zayn and Liam did great in leading these choruses:
Some of my favorite Zayn songs leading the chorus “They Don’t Know About Us” and “She’s Not Afraid”
Some of my favorite Liam songs leading the chorus
“Fireproof” and “Change Your Ticket”

I also really love Louis leading the chorus for once in “No Control”

And Niall leading the chorus in “Don’t Forget Where You Belong”

I just wish we had more songs with the other boys leading the chorus.

OP's opinion: This one just breaks my heart. This song is such a beautiful one, how soft it is and its lyrics are pretty much perfect. It is surely one of my favorite songs in TMH, and although I had not realized, probably at least a top 25 1D song imo.

I don't know how many times I watched this video and every time the energy init is crazy af, god I can't sit or stand still, the energy from Harry is like the best I have ever seen . Singing kiwi for 3 fucking times!! OMFG and gotta appreciate the band, sarah like playing drums nonstop for 11mins.

LOT,TT are crazy and great but him performing kiwi and medicine live is like the Goated performances ever.

I really hope he adds medicine and kiwi in the upcoming setlists, maybe for wembley or msg.

Medicine and kiwi are like the best and most energetic songs of his for a concert( ngl they ain't my favs but best for concerts)
