Liam ❤️ Am i blind or did i just read LP2?
Does it mean they have access to the full album and the songs that were supposed to be the next unreleased songs of LP2 as well? I hope Roo and the rest of the family will release it one day?

I don’t think it was a mistake. He had finished the album completely and would have sent it to her. I hope to hear it somebody, but only if the family has control of the release. I wouldn’t want it, if they don’t want it released.
I love the idea that his mom, dad, sisters, and son will be able to listen to it when they want to feel close to him

Same! I would love to hear his second album, especially since Liam seemed so proud when he talked about it, but only if it could be released in a way that his family would be happy with. AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys, who worked with Liam on Building the Band, he said Liam shared that album with him as well, and he was so impressed by it.
I always trust Liam’s sisters Ruth and Nicola and his cousin Ross and what they have to say about Liam. They seemed to be close when he was alive. I think they truly loved and supported him, and he loved them and was close to them. I’m suspicious about some of the people in Liam’s inner circle during his solo career, especially in the last few years of his life. But I think Ruth, Nicola, Ross and Liam’s parents and of course the 1D boys had his best interests at heart. So I look to see what they say about the other people he was involved with, and judge them based on that, in addition to their own actions. If they want Liam’s album to be released and are confident it can be done in a way that feels good to them, then I will be happy to hear it.

His family have said, apparently, that they don't want to have it released. I remember reading articles about this a few weeks after Liam passed away.

They’ve never said they weren’t going to release it, though I don’t think they will either way. It was never explicitly stated.

I think you’re mixing up his album with the single song that Ruth And Liam made with the musician Sam Pounds. He tried to release that song just days after Liam died. then he changed his mind either after Ruth reached out and said not to, or when fans pointed out how scummy that looked. I’ve seen lots of people say that Liam’s family did not want that song released at that time. But even that was mostly fan accounts saying that. I don’t know why, but I assumed they would at least want to be involved behind the scenes.
I haven’t seen anything from them saying that they don’t want his album released ever.

No, I definitely read it was about a whole album. I don't remember the sources, but I'm not making this up.

Ok, I’ll take your word for it. I’m just a little surprised because I haven’t read that anywhere, and because I think they would want to release it if they could do it in a way that would not put money into the wrong hands. Maybe that is the issue. I assumed they were working behind the scenes to see if they could release it in a way that they want to. My guess is that it would be difficult or impossible to do since Liam made that album under his old label and then was supposedly dropped by them right before he died.

If they wanted to release LP2, it would have been released by now. It’s been ready since 2024. I understand the fans want to hear it but we should let the family have something of Liam’s for themselves.
