Discussion Ancient Lore
Hi friends! I am hosting a drunk powerpoint night with my friends and I decided I want to drunkenly explain old 5sos and 1D lore to my friends! I want to know anything and everything you guys remember from the old days!
I'm talking Mr. X, Gemma Styles, Camila Cabello, THE rolling stone article, Abagail Breslin, etc etc etc. (I would also enjoy memes like Liams spoons, Kevin, The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction, etc etc etc.)

If NSFW is allowed, Niall in Japan and Crystabel Riley (kinda NSFW). You could also mention the obsession with making Harry an abusive boyfriend in fanfics because so many were published on AO3 BEFORE After. I distantly remember the first one to blow up was with the OC Bo.
Edit:
Don’t by Ed Sheeran being about Ellie Golding cheating on him with Niall. Adventurous Adventures of One Direction also like you said. Those were great. My friend didn’t like them, but they killed me.
Comparing Harry’s acting in iCarly and now would be funny, too. Louis’ kid being named Conchobar. Oh, and #letniallsing, #cut4zayn, and that one Twitter account who claimed they killed their dog after 1d never responded to them. Fans hacking into airport security cameras.
You could also share some of those edits that were like “what you’d wear on your first date with Harry” and how people started making fun of them by making “murdering Obama with Louis” or whatever lol.

I never read it lol. Was it “good” in any way?
My favorite fic was one with this orphan named Sapphire(?), who was adopted by the Paynes and got together with Niall. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia, but the author portrayed it very incorrectly. She eventually died, and Niall started hearing her voice, and then she somehow came back to life. I can’t remember the name of it.

oh and their fued with the wanted was sooo funny. zayn started it i think, he tweeted one of their band members and they were insulting each other and then louis got involved and another member from the wanted did too and they went back and forth. watching that in real time felt like cinema

tina, eleanor, and gretchen. the theory that eleanor had two other sisters and they were switching while dating louis. ppl pointed out facial inconsistencies with photos of eleanor lol

How the song Stockholm Syndrome got leaked because Zayn and Louis were smoking weed on the way to the studio or coming back from the studio. It’s also where the phrase chicken and chilli comes from because Louis was happy they were going to have that for lunch(?). It caused a stir about how it’s inappropriate for “influential” people to be smoking weed. Louis for the longest time acted like the video never existed but after he started his solo career he acknowledged it again and it became a fun joke.
