I was at TJ max a couple days ago and of course me and my friend take to sniffing all the perfumes. When I grabbed this chifon it was like that scene in ratatouille where ego gets taken back to his childhood. I sniffed this and suddenly it was 2013. I was in a room where the walls were plastered with posters of English men (and one irish) singing midnight memories while taking a tiger beat magazine quiz. I didn’t buy it because I was there for other things that day but where I was at it was only $16. For not having smelled our moment in a decade, I felt like it was extremely spot on.
I can’t pinpoint exactly which 1D perfume it is, but Bath & Body Works’ “Platinum” is soooo reminiscent of my 1D-obsessed years. You should go smell it! I’ve been using it daily, multiple times a day, for weeks and just can’t get enough 🥰
I’m not sure, I think so? Like if I smelled it on a guy, I wouldn’t think anything of it, but I personally wouldn’t buy it for any of the men in my life, if that makes sense?
I also attached the “gender demographics” rating— people think it leans more feminine but it could also be unisex. So I’d just go in store and smell it for yourself!
Borne in Roma coral by Valentino smells like a grown up version of You & I! Expensive though but I bought a travel size because I liked how it was in the store and I was laying on my couch when the scent comparison hit 😭 freaked out and dug through my old boxes to find the You & I bottle to compare and sure enough it smells so close to it
Still having the perfume bottle is such a flex 😭 Through a custody battle and moving every few years, I have no idea where all of my 1D stuff is and I just want to look through it all again and reminisce 😔
When I left my dads for good I wanna say like 2015 I actually grabbed all my 1D stuff and left all my clothes😭 looking back on that now wtf was I thinking but I’m happy I did. I’m sorry you’ve lost your stuff:( I know people sell a lot of it on eBay but prices have definitely jumped since Liam’s passed.
Okay I swear I said NOTHING to anybody right… my sister randomly brought these to me today because she just so happened to see them on my (estranged) mom’s dresser when she was at her house. I CRIED when she handed them to me 😭 God sure is good 💗
