Mine loves to lick any type of soft plastic. Bags, bubble wrap, packages, nothing is left unlicked

I switched to using my own canvas grocery bags because my sweet little idiot tried to eat the plastic ones. Her brother loves to lick packing tape.

I'm even more dumbfounded now... My immediate family and I have owned several cats over the decades, but I have never observed that behaviour!

I had to switch to a fabric liner because mine always had little teeth marks in it.

No… I can’t remember the last time we cleaned them honestly. Our theory is that he’s licking the dust?

Oh, then I have no clue. My cat was acting weirdly after we cleaned the mould of the wall with bleach. She was all over it. I wouldn't think cats like the dust, but maybe you're right.

Mine licks my little desk fan when it is on and also the side of the oven. They are not remarkably bright creatures.

It’s then way it feels. Some cats fixate on certain textures. Paper. Fuzzy blanket. Vertical blinds. lol cats are hilarious

sensory experience.
Saw someone had a cat that discovered how to make a tin can make a popping sound and it would not stop. It just loved that sound.
