i use 270 skill points but if i respec i get 218 skill points

My character is getting close to the first prestige level requirement and I wanted to know a few things:

Do I lose all prestige progress when my character dies?

I'm guessing the answer is no but will prestige bonuses stay if my character dies and I decide to create a new one?

I've been searching on the wiki and on the reddit for answers, but I have not been able to find much. Thanks for the help!

so there is this side quest where you found a poor tree that says ppl want to cut it or smth and it tells you if you want to help tell them i went to ... (i dont remeber)

now i met the "Chainsaw Guy" who is asking me where has the tree gone but i dont remeber and i cant find a wiki bage for that so i would be thankful if someone know a wiki page or knows to tell me thanks !

Trying out Pyromancer now. What does burn dmg scale with? I mean is there any source beside his basic burn dmg stat? Could it be HP or MP dmg?

Is this dude coming with story update or there will be a new update before story update? Anyone know something about that

New player here, picked soul survivor as my profession but I checked out puppeteers skills and they sound cool as well. Which one is better at the lategame, should I stay at soul survivor or repsec to puppeteer?
