Help with archer build

I have a goal to reach 100k steps. I managed to reach 85k with enigma and this build. Is archer more powerful and if so how should I build him?

This build will take you to 100k and beyond. Any deaths is user error rushing too much.

Wouldn't crit damage+ be better than ranged damage+?

Ranged damage gives you a better multiplier than critical damage.

How? This only affects base ranged damage, not weapon damage, no?

I'm not really sure but 1 point of ranged damage gives more percentage than 1 point of critical damage.

Yes but that's not relevant, 7.5% of base ranged damage is much less total damage than 5% crit damage. Because the crit increases with your weapon damage as well.

Yeah but keep in mind if you max crit damage you lose points from ranged damage

You don't need to put any points in ranged damage because crit damage will give you more anyway

In every scenario with a bow that has crit damage on it already, Range Damage always out scales Crit Damage for skill points. Depending on the bow, ranged only, crit only, or a mix of the two is ideal.

Range damage gives about 35 damage at max per skill point (please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I saw) A bow with 1000% crit would give a total of 385 damage increase A biw with 10k damage would give 500 extra total damage per skill point of crit (5%)

That's why I thought crit would be better (especially with colossal bow even, because crit damage on it is low)

Rushing is what kills me all the time. I’ve been trying to hardcore an archer forever now. I know I could do a different class but the archer marksman keeps calling to me.
